Paso Robles Fall Classics

I’m Joking and Tricia Booker in the 2’9” USHJA Hunters at the Paso Robles Fall Classic.

Painted Horse LLC’s I’m Joking M continued earning excellent mileage and great ribbons in the hunters during the Paso Robles Fall Classics, held in November at the Paso Robles Horse Park in California.

“Joker” spent the two weeks showing in the 2’9” USHJA Hunters and schooling and preparing for the 3’ Greens next year.

I was super proud of how consistent he became during the second week, when he marched around to top-three ribbons over fences in a division of 18+ and placed fourth under saddle. He’s really starting to relax in the ring and understand going straight and looking for the next fence down the lines. Transitioning a jumper to a hunter is new to me, and he’s been a very forgiving partner as I figure out how he wants to be ridden.
